  • Q: What are Fayytal Flames candles made from?
    A: My tinned candles are a 50/50 blend of premium soy and coconut wax. The moulded and customisable candles are a 50/50 mix of soy coconut and beeswax candles for the extra endurance! I use CDN wicks (cotton with a paper core) and high-quality fragrance oils — because your home deserves better than dusty old paraffin from the back of a discount bin.

    Q: Do your candles smell as strong as they look?
    A: Absolutely. If you can’t smell it from the hallway, we’ve failed you.

    Q: Can I request a custom colour/scent?
    A: Yes. I thrive on chaotic combos. Want your candle to smell like a fruit orchard but look like it crawled out of the abyss? I can make that happen.

    Q: Why does my candle look slightly different from the photo?
    A: Because each one is hand-poured with love (and maybe a little cackling). Tiny variations are the mark of something made by a human gremlin, not a factory bot.

    Q: Are your candles eco-friendly?
    A: As much as possible — natural waxes, recyclable packaging, and glitter that won’t ruin the ocean’s day.

  • Q: How do I make my candle last longer?
    A: Keep the wick trimmed to about 5mm, let the melt pool reach the edges before blowing it out, and don’t leave it burning longer than 4 hours unless you enjoy mushroom-shaped wicks of doom.

    Q: Why is my candle tunnelling/frosting?
    A: Nature’s quirks. Frosting is a natural effect of soy wax and doesn’t affect the burn. Tunnelling happens when you snuff it too soon — commit to the first burn, sugar bear.

    Q: Can I burn my sculptural candle?
    A: Yes, but be warned — their beauty will melt away like a goth in summer. Always burn them on a heatproof dish to catch drips.

    Q: Do your candles come with care instructions?
    A: Nah, I know you’ve all been burning candles long enough to know what to do. If still unsure, please see our Safety & Use Guidelines here

  • Q: How long will my order take to ship?
    A: Depends! Customised candles usually take a day or so to make (unless you do a bulk order) + there’s usually 3–7 business days to wait for delivery. If you’ve ordered something extra spicy or custom, give me a little more time to make it perfect.

    Q: Do you ship outside Australia?
    A: Not officially, but if you’re interested- message me. We can work together to try and conquer the beast that is international postage.

    Q: Can I pick up my order locally?
    A: Yes, if you’re near Burnie, Tasmania. I’ll send pickup details once your order is ready.

    Q: Do you combine shipping if I order multiple items?
    A: Of course- I’m not out here charging you extra just because you have great taste.

    Q: What happens if my candle arrives damaged?
    A: Send me photos within 48 hours of delivery and I’ll sort it- replacement, refund, or store credit. No one likes broken wax. Check out our policies here

  • Q: Can you make a candle in my favourite colour/scent combo?
    A: Yes — choose from my scent list or let me surprise you. (Surprises may range from “heavenly” to “what on earth… but in a good way.”)

    Q: Do you do bulk or wholesale orders?
    A: Yes — whether you want wedding favours, shop stock, or a suspiciously large stash for “personal use,” I’ve got you. Message me for our wholesale prices.

    Q: How does the candle subscription work?
    A: You pick your size (Full-Force: 8oz, Altar-Worthy: 10oz, or be a daredevil and trust me to guide your customisable candle journey). Then choose your level of obsession (3, 6, or 12 months). I send a new surprise candle each month. 12-month plans get free shipping — because loyalty should smell amazing.

    Can you send a candle straight to my friend?
    Yes! I also like to do super cute packaging and (if you request it) I can do a personalised note xx

  • Q: Why do your candles have such unhinged names?
    A: Why not? Do you really want another “Lavender Vanilla” candle? That is boring, and my candles are not.

    Q: Will your candles summon anything?
    A: Only good vibes… probably. I can’t control the fae or demons that may choose to intercept.

    Q: Can I eat my candle?
    A: No. Even if it smells like dessert, your dentist and I are begging you — don’t.

    Q: Do you take scent requests?
    A: Absolutely. Message me your wildest ideas. Worst case, I laugh; best case, I make it real and name it something ridiculous.

    $5 for added custom-details, seriously?
    Yes, my love! Hand-painted extras cost $5 because my time, products, paintbrushes, and sanity are not fully renewable resources. 😘
